Prevention, Respond and Resilience Building to Address Burn Violence- (PRBV) Project
Duration: .March 2019 to November 2020
Objectives: To prevent acid and other burn violence by protecting rights of the survivors in an enabling and safe environment.
Major Activities: Social mobilization, promoting women leadership, skill development, strengthening and ensuring public service provision, advocacy, campaign, group development, awareness.
Implementation process:
- Group formation and development (Community , Youth Women & Men and Acid Survivors Groups)
- Awareness raising sessions – Group meeting, dialogue sessions with men and boys , dissemination posters, brochures
- Engaging youth men and boys – Dialogue with men and boys, different kind campaign
- Promoting women leadership – Capacity building, IGA Training, JOb Placement
- Strengthening and ensuring public services provision (physical and psychological and Legal Aid services) – Linkage with Sadar Hospital, OCC, civil surgeon office, group counseling on psycho-social care support, Dialogue and meeting with Legal aid members and legal clinic
- Advocacy – Meeting with service providers, Meeting with stakeholders and Meeting and Dialogue with Journalists
- Campaign – School, college campaign, hat-bazar-railway and bus station campaign round table discussion etc.
