Community-based Resilience, Women’s Empowerment and Action (CREA)

Duration: March 01, 2023, to June 30, 2026

Objective: is to build women’s leadership capacity and increased the resilience of the most vulnerable communities to address climate change impact.

Major Activities :

1. Capacity building of the local stakeholders including LGIs and LGBs to make them responsive to ensure quality services for the vulnerable communities, women, and girls;
2. Capacity building of vulnerable communities to prepare plans and implementation of adaptation actions for building resilience against climate change;
3. Group mobilization, leadership capacity building, school program, and ‘equality through dignity’ campaign to empower women and girls to deal with inequality, social injustice, and violence incidences and participated in voice raising and protests;
4. Awareness raising among stakeholders, capacity building of women and girls and strengthening social audit to stop DVAW, child marriage, and GBV;
5. Provide support to most vulnerable female-headed households to implement climate-adaptive IGAs for alternative livelihoods.
