Strengthening Resilience of Livestock Farmers Through Risk Reducing Services

 Duration: June 01, 2020 to Ongoing

 Objective : a. Reduction of livestock morbidity & mortality risk through affordable services; b. Farmers capacity development on improve farm management; c. Increase investment in better sustainable livestock farming; d. To develop capacity of the service providers to reduce livestock risks.

 Major activities: Farmer selection; awareness; training, financial security services; vaccenation & de-warming camp etc.

 Implementation process : Project beneficiaries selection and provide necessary training; direct project implementation through project staffs, provide project support for risk reduction activities; campaign and raplication good practices within and beyond project artea.

 Matching of SDG: SDG-1: End poverty in all its forms everywhere. SDG-2: End hunger, achieve food security and improve nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture.
